Crafted from grapes sourced from top-performing Marlborough vineyards, each wine is made in a distinctive style to reflect, not only the flavours of the region, but also the fine art of winemaking. The goal; a perfect harmony of aroma, flavour, structure and body.
COLOUR: Pinot noir features a light ruby with medium red hue tones.
AROMA: A rich ruby colour in the glass, with complex aromas that leap out; black cherry, mocha, plum, hints of clove and vanilla with an elegant violet floral note.
FLAVOUR: The palate shows ripe silky tannins with more dark fruits plus raspberry compote and toasty, charry oak flavours. The balance between fruit sweetness, flavour intensity and supple texture results in a wine of approachable elegance, with poise right to the finish where the savoury oak lingers on.
Well matched with mushroom pasta or risotto. The richness also lends itself to rare venison, grilled ostrich or slow-cooked game meat casseroles such as rabbit or fowl.
